ntldr missing dvd

HI All. Well I finally got a verified burn after 7 tries! Different programs, different discs. Now when I try to boot off of the dvd I get a ntldr is missing. Is there any thing I can do? I'm trying to install on a extra 80 gig pata drive I had lying around. I disconnected my primary drive. Thanks for any info. Howard

It sounds as if your pc is still trying to boot from your hard drive. Go into your BIOS and select DVDRom drive as your first boot option.
